Enzo Ferrari authored several books over his career. These books were, but for rare exceptions, never sold through retail outlets, but rather gifted or "presented" to friends and associates of Ferrari. Though the book "Piloti, Che Gente" was actually one of those rare exceptions and was indeed sold in retail outlets throughout the world and even translated and issued in several English editions, this particular copy was presented by Enzo Ferrari to a prominent Ferrari Club of America official at the time. Dont ask!!! "Who came up with this and why" is a legitimate question. Produced by Majorette of France in the mid-to-late '80s. 1:60 scale diecast model of the Ferrari 288 GTO. One of a series of "Extreme Animals" models, some based on real vehicles, some completely fictional, that were half animal; a precursor to Transformers. The wheels can be adjusted to raise or lower either end of the car. Majorette 2101
